MoNo

The exhibition “MoNo” introduces viewers to the works of 35+ international artists who were challenged to submit a singular, monochrome work that could serve as a carrier of their practice. Obviously, this exercise is a difficult and borderline impossible one, but it forces artists to reflect on their practice and make a heart-wrenching decision among the works in their oeuvre.

For the curation of the exhibition, it was important to create a coherent selection that allows each singular artwork to make as much impact as possible, and to create a dialogue and contrast between neighboring artworks to create a balanced exhibition that invites viewers to discover more about the respective artists.
